Matador Records have recently announced the imminent (if you consider September 8th to be imminent that is) arrival of Yo La Tengo album number, er, 12? Regardless, it's entitled 'Popular Songs' and it's hoped that it follows on from the frequent loveliness of 'I Am Not Afraid of You and I Will Beat Your Ass'.For fans of the Yo La Tengo wig-outs that frequently close out their albums, this news from the Matador site....
