And the winner is........

...well, well, well. So the truth did out and Adrian Crowley - creator of last year's best Irish album by some margin - won the Choice Music Prize for 2009. It's a wonderful boost for an artist still very much on the fringes and no doubt the wad will come in very handy indeed. Charming man and a wonderful artiste.
