'Moses' - Elizabeth Fraser

There's been an Elizabeth Fraser webpage for some time now on which you could sign up for updates etc. Over the years I've clicked randomly on that page in the hope of some news of a new record, but invariably nothing - it had the added bonus of a having a wonderfully ambient track playing on a loop which, to me, suggested the route she may be taking when she did choose to sing again. But as this new record suggests - her first recorded output in ten years - that's not quite where she's at. It starts out like a Lily Allen record and, that voice apart, disappoints.
There's a quite revealing interview with the great woman here which goes into some painful detail of the death of the Cocteau Twins and her life since.
